The Buzz: Kelce, Newton, Rudolph, Week 14 injury report

Chief tight end Travis Kelce runs after making a catch vs. the Chargers last season.

TRAVIS KELCE – TE/KC

After Week 13, seven players had reached 1,000 yards in receiving – six wide receivers, and tight end Travis Kelce of the Kansas City Chiefs. Kelce is currently 2nd with 1,114 receiving yards, only five yards behind NFL leader D.K. Metcalf. He’s in position to do something no tight end has ever been able to accomplish – lead the NFL in receiving yards. – CBSSports.com

CAM NEWTON – QB/NE

After New England’s embarrassing loss to the Los Angeles Rams on Thursday, Bill Belichick said it again – Cam Newton is the Patriots’ starting quarterback. That statement didn’t come with an expiration date, but maybe it should have. – ProFootballTalk

KYLE RUDOLPH – TE/MIN

Tight end has been a rough spot for fantasy owners all season long. If you were relying on Kyle Rudolph – with your fingers crossed – for your big playoff game this weekend, well… go ahead, uncross the fingers, and feverishly start scouring your waiver wire. – ProFootballTalk
